The Challenge
Design a new iPhone application for Herbal One Weight Management Nutrition Centres. With over fifty locations and a wide variety of products and programs, Herbal One wanted to expand its reach with a mobile application. The iPhone application would be required to map closest store locations using the phone’s GPS and display store hours of operation, phone numbers (with hot links to dial the phone number and open an email), links to directions, and a contact form to generate leads. Products may be ordered online through a secure page.The Solution
Digital Internet Group's development staff implemented a solution that utilizes the live Herbal One web site database. This solution eliminates the need for a separate iPhone database and ensures all program, product and store data is synced with the live web site. A change made to the live site will be reflected immediately in the iPhone application.In Conclusion
Digital Internet Group successfully fulfilled all the client’s requirements and more. The client was so pleased with the results that a second phase is being considered to expand the resources offered in the iPhone application.
